The Exhibition

The historic documents

Housed in jewel-like cases, the actual documents will be the centerpiece of a bilingual
interpretive exhibit based on three themes: History, Legacy and Justice Today.

Of Kings, Barons and Commoners explores the saga of the Charter and provides context for the visitor. How and why did this Charter come about?

Beyond Britannia takes the impact of the Magna Carta beyond the shores of the UK to show how achievements in individual rights, justice and governance spread to the colonies of North America, particularly Canada.

Justice Today:

An Ongoing Project presents the enduring significance of the Magna Carta through contemporary issues of human rights from around the world.
